Terms of Service

Effective 1 October 2026

These terms cover your use of Hearth, a service operated by Memriq Holdings, Inc. ("Memriq", "we"). By using Hearth you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with your information and the information your household keeps about its members.

What Hearth is, and what it is not

Hearth helps a family coordinate its week: who is home, away or out, the places the family uses, who holds each pickup, drop-off and chore, and check-ins at those places. Hearth never follows anyone, never messages a family member on your behalf, never gives anyone a responsibility and never shares where anyone is. Its suggestions are produced with the help of AI models and can be wrong or incomplete; check anything that matters before you rely on it.

Not an emergency service

Hearth is not an emergency service and cannot call for help. In an emergency, call your local emergency number — 911 in the United States. Do not rely on Hearth to know where anyone is: it only knows a place when someone presses to say so.

Who can use it

Hearth is in an invitation-only early access period. You need a Memriq account and an invitation that has been accepted for Hearth — joining the waiting list and being invited, redeeming an invitation code, or a link from your household's organizer. An invitation is personal; do not share or sell it. Hearth is for adults; a child is kept as a managed member by a parent or guardian and does not sign in.

What you put into Hearth

Add only information about your own household, and only to coordinate it. Do not use Hearth to track, monitor or harass anyone, or to record someone's whereabouts against their wishes. An adult member records their own days and check-ins; a managed member's are kept by the household's adults.

Hearth acting for you

How far Hearth may act without asking you first is your setting, and Hearth tells you what a setting allows before you choose it. At every setting Hearth never messages your family, never gives anyone a responsibility and never shares where anyone is. You remain responsible for anything you approve Hearth to do.

Your account

Keep your sign-in to yourself and tell us at hi@memriq.ai if you think someone else has used it. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Early access

Hearth is new. Features may change, pause or be removed, and it may be unavailable at times. It is provided as it is, without promises that it will be error-free or that every reminder will arrive.

Price

During early access Hearth has one level, at no charge, and no payment is taken. If that changes, we will tell you before you are asked to pay, and you will not be charged without agreeing.

Limits on our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, Memriq is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for a missed pickup or reminder, or for decisions you make using Hearth's week, reminders or suggestions. Nothing in these terms limits a responsibility the law does not let us limit.

Ending

You can stop using Hearth at any time; an organizer can erase the household and any other member can leave it, and you can ask us to close your account, as the Privacy Policy describes. We may suspend an account that misuses Hearth as described above, and we may end early access, or your access, with notice where we can give it.

Changes and contact

If these terms change, the new version is published here with its date before it takes effect. Questions: hi@memriq.ai. Privacy: privacy@memriq.ai.
